Question about classical guitar/piano arranged songs?
Hey i know this sounds weird but i noticed that if theres a song with a chord progression that always repeats classical guitar or piano players playing and arranged song always stay in a position where they can play the chord and the melody so that had me thinking. When they wrote these songs like “fly me to the moon” was it intentional that the notes for the vocal part was an extension of the chords used in the song?

A lot of songs are first written on the guitar and then transposed into 4 part harmony for the piano… conversely.. I play a lot of piano music ON THE GUITAR because it’s a ready source… and I also use a keyboard in my shows, so having the piano score makes it easy to do both.
