is this a good start to my book?
i am 11 and i am going to write a book this is the start is it good?
The old rotting away house creaked and swayed in the wind, I sat under the covers on my bed, terrified that any moment the house will cave in. that’s when I heard it, a slight whistling noise, I knew there was not a window open. I sat frozen unable to move I only had one thought in my head, ghosts
The room suddenly felt warmer, and warmer, and then soon hot, I was sweating! I jumped up from my bed and froze I was paralyzed by what I saw; the room was packed with old people! Tall and short they all stared at me, then they just disappeared. Into thin air.
