OUR PURPOSE:

We at the Song Bird have been called to link ... network ... with those in all the arts.  We believe it is our calling to help artists show the world through the written, performing, visual and fine arts that the light and hope they seek is our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Song Bird is delighted to introduce to you, a flourishing network of Christians in the arts.

We have developed a powerful organization which serves God and His Kingdom through encouraging, equipping, networking and building relationships among Christians, internationally, in the entertainment and arts industry.  Our intent is to promote Godly Standards of excellence throughout the world.  Our seventeen year track record of involvement in Christian arts, includes successful conferences, workshops, contests, mentor and counseling programs, musician and writers guild and community outreach!

The Song Bird is a Christian ministry that promotes the work of Christian writers, fine artists, musicians, dramatists, dancers, film and media and other creative persons.

Our vision is to create an infrastructure and center of operations that enables people to use their talents for reaching out and ministering to the world.

Without this infrastructure, many Christian writers and artists' ministries will lose heart, focus and fade from the scene

 

THE SONG BIRD'S SOLUTION:

God lead us to form a 'for-profit' corporation that is now well known as "The Song Bird Christian Performing and Fine Arts Centre, Theatre and Academy".

The Song Bird, is a tri-level building, situated in downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with a beautifully decorated coffee house.  "The Song Bird Theater" heralding a 20' chandeliered ceiling, a fine arts gallery for Christian Artists, and a 16' x 35' stage with mezzanine.

Corporate profits support expansion, provide meeting places, a show place and gallery, art studio, offices and training center.  The support provides a place for concerts, conferences, contests, guilds, mentor programs, keynote speakers and more.

 

OUR CORPORATE VISION IS TO SERVE GOD BY:

w Unifying and assisting professional and amateur Christian writers, entertainers, artists and other disciplines as they work in ministry for Christ.

w Showcasing their work as they network and minister to the church and the world by exercising their gifts through many areas of media.

w Presenting media, entertainment and arts as a highly visible, influential Christian force of excellence.

 

Our track record includes:  successful Christian writer's conferences, concerts, contests, workshops, guilds and mentoring programs since 1985.

We are not a start-up, rather a growing business has incorporated plans to builds a Performing and Fine Arts Centre.  We are building the basis of the successful service to the Lord.  We serve Christians in the arts as a ministry.  We market to the entire community by operating an establishment where customers are assured of a family-friendly atmosphere.  We provide a venue for performing artists, sales of the products of talented Christians and help in developing and sharing their personal gifts.

It is important to note that we welcome all Christian writers and artists.  We are nondenominational.  We focus on serving Christ and helping all the body of believers.

We operate a self-supporting business.  This approach is unusual for a Christian organization ... quite rare for a ministry.  We believe God has lead us in building a Christian enterprise that supports itself.  One that generates profits to support and help build careers for Christians whose gifts are in the Arts.

 

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

We need your investment in this Christian business.  The initial work is done.  Budgets, business plans, building remodeling operations are completed.  We have persons who loaned valuable equipment, provide skilled labor and provide oversight to make this ministry work.  Your investment in The Song Bird can be in one of several opportunities described below.  Just click the link.

 

We have made available several sponsorship opportunities ranging from $100 to $1,000.  Your dollars will be used in an advertisement brochure and through other modes of advertising, profiting you and your company.  All monies are complete business write-offs for you.  You will decide in which area your sponsorship will be directed.
