Varieties of Camera Cases
Camera cases are an important part as they provide protection for your camera and the accessories. There are several types of camera cases available, the most common of which are the form fitting type case, small camera pack or backpack, or sling bag type of case. You will have to choose among these taking into consideration factors like, size, shape, material and cost. Your kind of usage will play a major role in the life of your camera case and that should be given priority too, during selection.
The standard camera cases that are given free with the camera are usually form fitting cases. They are normally made of soft material and fit the camera snugly. They can’t be used with other cameras or used to hold additional accessories. Form fitting camera cases made of harder, impact absorbing material can be bought as well for those who prefer not carrying too much weight, in terms of accessories. Small bag type camera cases are great when you have one camera and a few accessories like a few lenses or batteries. They are easy to carry and will not be too much of a load on oneself. Camera backpacks or sling pack type cases are for those who are going to hit the road for a long time or have a massive amount of equipment to carry. They provide ample space for almost all your equipment and will be quite easy to carry as well. Most such backpacks will have a reasonable amount of water proofing hence making it all-weather durable.
